Valiant Artist on Pixelstrips.com

Post by kevinv »

Hey everyone,
I heard you site mentioned on the best comic podcast called comic geek speek. I was a big fan of valiant comics also. I started a webcomic site called pixelstrips.com and was lucky to get a submission from Winston Blakely. He was an inker for many comics in the Valiant line-up. He has a 2 comics on the site as well as a third on the way.

So stop by and visit the site and read some great stuff and support the artists. Thanks, love the site!

That's pretty cool, welcome aboard. I'm not overly familiar with Winston's work for Valiant. So just in case anyone else is wondering about what books he had a hand in, here's the page.

Thanks. Thinking about this line made me go back and read the trades I have. XO, Solar and a few others. I forgot how cool this stuff was. I collected all of it back in the day an was lucky to stumble on a bunch of trades in a used book store.

Yeah, the Pre-Unity issues were reads. The further away you get for Unity though, it's pretty much a downhill slide.

I like how he signed it... Blakley the unknown inker.
