They had lithos like that of all the variant covers. I got one with the Bart Sears cover; I picked the other one up for KC and had both guys sign it and Bob remark it.

Bob Layton told me he took his ValiantFans.com bag to the show.

Good promotions for the NY show coming up..

I picked up a copy of Zoom Suit at my LCS. It was the "team edition".

I like the Cub Scout badge homage in the guy's military patch. That was pretty good. :thumb:

My biggest problem was the kid's girl friend calling him Optimus Prime. The chances of a teenage girl today knowing about Optimus Prime are 0.

I chatted up John for a little while; I tried to stay out of Bob's way while he worked on some sketches. He was pretty animated and fun to listen to while he worked, though.
You should have said something like how much you admire Jim Shooter and sure wished he were here so you could get an autograph, in ear shot of Bob.....I'll be that would have gotten his attention.

I coulnd make it to the show, but I had a friend pick me up a Litho, and a Solar Statur for only $20. I just got my things today,, and when I opened the Statue I was surprise to find out its one of the Artist Proof.

I really like the Litho, Im usre if I would have been there myself, I would have bought like one of each cover.

Horror? I would be thrilled.

I had all that caution tape too so I could have marked out around him with it. I bet it would be great for sales.

Next time, let me know ... we can do a full scale Old West saloon fight in there. I didn't see any bouncers, so we could probably tear the place halfway down.
