I'd be interested in someone doing the same deal for me.....only I'm willing to pay $$ for it.x-omatic wrote:I was thinking maybe a single comic board with as many "head" shots as someone can get for free.slym2none wrote:Are you willing to pay for anyone, or freebies only? I would like to hook-up with a "Convention Buddy". Someone who will pick up a set of Con goodies for me, since I can't be there.
I will most certainly make it worth the time for whoever does this for me. PM me if you are interested.
THANKS!---Steve

If not, we can just have our OWN Valiant Meeting here in Indiana! That way we can horde our own goodies! Helluva idea! I know I'm going to Wizard World Chicago in August. I thought we might be able to put something together for that, but I know you live closer to Ohio. What do you propose?

I dunno....it would be a fun thing to do, though...Erskine71 wrote:Vault-Keeper wrote:If not, we can just have our OWN Valiant Meeting here in Indiana! That way we can horde our own goodies! How many fans in our area would come? Would Mid-Ohio Con (in Columbus) be better for some people? Who could we get from Valiant to attend? It's something to ponder on...---Steve

Good luck...it's tough to put something like this together it LITERALLY takes over your life...for the last 2 months. John NOW understands what I mean and went through putting the SDCC confrence together last year....Vault-Keeper wrote:I dunno....it would be a fun thing to do, though...Erskine71 wrote:Vault-Keeper wrote:If not, we can just have our OWN Valiant Meeting here in Indiana! Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

Sweeeet! Just in case it was a little unclear what I mean by a comic board, I am refering to an 11 X 17 comic art board.
Thank you

Just rcvd this email from Kevin Van Hook
Hey, --
Wish I could make it. I had hoped to be clear this weekend, but I'm
knee-deep in prep for, "Death Row," which starts shooting next
Wednesday (the 5th) and I've got to be in L.A. for some makeup fx stuff
with some of the ghost designs. (On the cool side, I got Bernie
Wrightson do do a bunch of designs for me!)
Tell everyone I said Hi and let 'em know how much I miss them. Anyone
that knows me personally knows how much my Valiant days really mean to
me. Some of my longest and deepest friendships grew out of my time
there.
Take care and have a wonderful time.
Best,
Kevin VanHook

Yeah, but it's nice to hear he has so much work. Sounds like things are going great for him.
