Re-Reading: Magnus Robot Fighter #19

I thought we could do a book a day (that way people can read one every day or catch up on weekends), talk about it on its own, in the context of whats next, in regards to what expectations it creates and vote on how good it is. I don't have to be the one that posts everyday. If I miss a day or if someone wants to take over please do

For voting think of your single favourite comic book (not just VALIANT) as the benchmark - thats a 10 - and grade according to that.

Make sure to mention what you like'd about the book, what you didn't, what you wish they would have done, your favourite panels, lines of dialogue, little bits of trivia etc.

Like last issue. Intrigueing ideas, flawed execution. Magnus seems too willing and too unfazed at killing the Syncrons (seems like he could just knock them around a little) and it was very unclear what happened with Mekman at the end. A 7.

The conclusion to last issue, with same strengths and weaknesses. Feels a bit rough, could have been worked through more, but still a good story that works both from a Gold Key perspective and a Valiant perspective.

Seaborn's synopsis:

As Mekman studies the brain of E-7, his probe-induced inhibitions return causing him great pain. E-7 reassembles himself and leaves for a time. Mekman sends himself for re-probing. Elzy is arrested based upon lies made by Saart Tartine. Magnus goes to release her and encounters both Mekrnan and E-7 there. E-7 has come to rescue Mekman from further probing but is defeated by Magnus who notifies Synchron of E-7’s aggression. EIzy is then set free by Magnus and Mekman psycho-probes himself.
