I have a near complete run. It was a very good series. I thought that it was approached the way that the character should be approached.
Is there really a spike in the values of the books? Why?

Spike? Nah, I think they've been high for a while now. In other words, it's not like a "sell now or be sorry" thing. They've been high and will probably increase in value more over time tather than decrease. Very low print runs especially on the later issues, the character is still popular, more people have returned to comics since the series ended and want the books.

I don't have high hopes of actually selling these, but you never know. Sometimes I like to list at high prices just to see what happens. Last week I sold an ASM 36 for $50. I'm sure if I cut all those prices in half they would move on out a lot faster.

So... are the early DP minis worth anything now?

Doubt it. Way to common and way too crappy. The most recent DP run is different than most books because it was both good AND rare

Cool - as not too long ago, I made out to what I thought was a good trade for the first two DP minis that came out!
