I really like that its a collection of the best moments from the best X-O stories but others might not like that.

It really is very nice, and great to see such memorable moments for such an awesome character captured together. Awesome!

I hesitate to say it is the coolest ever. There will always be something cooler somewhere. But, I did give it a "5".
But bear in mind that I am largely biased by the excitement of seeing something from Valiant in print again.

I really like the litho.... but here is the thing....
I am trying to focus on completing my VH1 books... but I keep seeing this XO litho that would look awesome in my classroom....

...but then there is this cool Zoom Suit package, that will also help to fund research to find a cure for CF....

I really used to like Layton's art back in the day, but recently I've felt that it has been a bit obscure... as if he lost his edge or proportion or something (like the obscure art from the Iron Man Bad Blood mini... oh God).
That being said, I've got to say that this litho looks incredible... it's like Laytone the way I used to love his work! Really, really good stuff, I'm seriously considering getting this.
What are the details?

I totally understand where you guys are coming from with your perspective. These lithos have finger prints on them that shouldn't be.
Still, can you deny the beauty of Layton's work?

I gave it a 3 just because the images that Layton copied line for line from BWS and Leeke were great images. Though the awefulness of Layton's dinosaur in his swipe of the Leeke splashpage from X-O 7 and that bizarre looking pose in the middle (what exactly is X-O supposed to be doing?) ruin it even as a pierce half made of "reproductions". Still looks a lot better than the Solar litho.

Having had these very litho's in my hands I think they are AMAZING.
I'll be proud to have one of these hanging in my hallway.

You'd have to ask the artist who orginally drew the cover which Layton reproducedleonmallett wrote:I like it, but I have to ask - how does the horse carry a dude wearing space armour?
Seriously I don't think the armor was supposed to be that heavy (I think a normal chair or whatever would support X-O just fine). He's wearing the armor to keep himself together as the armor heals him after his...unfortunate accident with a dinosaur (which was badly swiped in the image to the left).

Would it have been easier for him if the dino wore armour?cobra_commander wrote:Bob Layton... Iron Man artist, founding member of VALIANT comics...couldn't draw dinosaurs for sh*tTodd Luck wrote: unfortunate accident with a dinosaur (which was badly swiped in the image to the left).
