No offense meant to anyone, but since when is it possible to post here without creating an identity?

I just saw someone post as a Guest and I'm not sure I like that.

The cool thing about this board is that everyone has an identity, a nick name they go by.

I don't remember the old board allowing that... but maybe I just didn't notice.

Not a complain, just a commentary

I do like that we can edit our posts now

it doesn't crash anymore, lol.

my best guess is that it's still not possible (i just tried to do it, actually, so i'm pretty sure it's not).

in a lot of bb's (i know for a fact with vbulletin) when a user is deleted, all of his/her posts are reset to "Guest" (or something else).

there's also the possibility that someone regged the nick Guest (altho i'd assume that's a non-valid nick)

That's the default behavior of the messageboard.

I created the Topic Oblivion category last weekend,
but I forgot to change the behavior to "registered users"...
so a "guest" was able to post.

Oh well... it's not like the internet isn't 99.9% anonymous.

But anyway, it's fixed now.
