From another topic:
Jay Tomio wrote: I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but in the latest Wizard, they chose Magnus as a character they would like to see return this year (noteing his rights are owned by Random House). It's sidebar material where he was included with SGT Rock, Deathlok, Mr. Miracle, and Namor. Part of the quote says, "he could be another Conan with more depth"

But don't start bigging up VALIANT until I have bought more, because I don't want prices inflating until I have done so....
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Jay Tomio wrote: Thanks for the kind words - I really appreciate it !
It's probably a longshot but instead of complaning about a magazine I still read all the time, I thought I just might have something more constructive to offer. I'm applying with what I'd call more than a solid eduational background - although not in this field (one thing about North Carolina - they do have good colleges): thumb: and experience in reviewing and interviewing - and I don't want a dime!
We will have VALIANT features with or without comics damn it! My feature wll be called
Ivar Down Memory Lane .
Holy sh!t you're serious?!
Man I really hope you get the job. I've read some of the stuff you write on your website and its pretty entertaining. Nicely written.
