Does anyone know who this guy is? imagesowner2 has been popping up on some big stuff lately. Kinda getting annoying because I want to buy so much of this stuff and this guy is on everything all the time

Rai 2 or 3 by chance? I don't know if you let those go, but I have a need for one of each.

...what are you willing to spend? What condition are you looking for? Have you asked the other members here? A lot of them sell a lot more than I do, but I am surely not saying I might not can help you out...

I am waiting to here from ckb on my want list. Just have about twenty of thirty more regular issues, then I am done. Condition is not such a big deal. At this point I am looking for place holders, if down the road I find better condition then I find better condition. Until then at least I will have finished the run and I can focus on the variants.

I am looking for better condition than that Adventure #220 that you were eyeballing earlier in the week.

Psst... there's a Rai 2 at Big Apple in Amarillo.

He's asking $7.60.

I'll give it a closer look on Wednesday.

I paid cover at the LCS.

It was still sealed and had been sitting on the shelf for 15 years and I really like the LCS and want to support them.

I've done the same with other books before, but only because the LCS owner is super nice and went out of his way to get some rare books for me. He even took a list I gave him to a convention that I couldn't make it to once and came back with almost every one of them. Wish more shops would do that.

"Imagesowner2" and "ink, inc." are now officially on my list. Who are these guys. These prices are ridiculous and have pretty much knocked me out of being able to ever compete for these books. This is some obscene speculation.

I have been watching the gold book market alot lately and for it to be in the $50-70 range now is scary, there is not even a guarantee of anything past the HC and people are going bananas.

What the hell? Can anyone explain this??? This is ridiculous. I know the Wang has pretty nice books for ebay, but what the hell is up with this?

There has to be some funny business going on in these auctions.

I haven't been on top of eBay like I used to be (limited funds; moving someday soon) and I did a couple of my standard searches today. "Unity" used to consistently provide one full page and maybe a few auctions on a second page. During the holidays, it stayed about two full pages. Today, there were nearly three full pages of Unity auctions. Same thing for "Rai".

I think the speculators of 15 years ago are probably going to be selling a lot of books to the speculators of today.

Glad I already have two of those four.

Hope those guys actually read some of those.

Wow, do you suppose the word about Harby hardcover is causing this? Those prices are absolutely insane.
