Sorry PGX / CGC

This maybe obvious to the graded comics collecter ~ but surely their is no difference between grading with these two companys?

I recall someone saying PGX laugh at themselves?

Why is a graded book PGX likely to get less interest than a cgc?

Would you pay more for the same grade cgc?
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

CGC is the current standard.

CGC comics sell/cost more than PGX.

Also, for further PGX jackassery, check out the STL forums ( http://forum.stlcomics.com/ ) in the graded comics section. There is stuff about that company that will make you laugh outright (such as a search for the companies address showing the location in a residential neighbourhood - a cul-de-sac, no less!)

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I asked the same question man when I first joined - I was amazed by the fact that PGX is basically a garage with a couple people - literally.

Here is the thread I posted:

A couple of people? Methinks you over-estimate that operation...

Yea - I def. gave the 'operation' too much credit. I forgot how large they were.

At one point the CGG/PGX address was a residential address in Eugene. I can't find it at the moment.
