Hey, this is right up my field:

People with Asperger's have difficulty in social communication. This is evident when they do not respond to 'normal' social cues. They also have difficulty with 'theory of mind' which, in layman's terms, means that they have difficulty understanding experience from another persons perspective, or from any perspective for that matter. For instance, until they were told about the back of their head they never understood that the back of their head existed due to never seeing it. Even when they see themselves on a recording, its very difficulty form them to understand that who they are watching is indeed themselves. I do a lot of 'mirror work' with the Aspy students I service. They can be VERY fun :thumb:

Well, I don't think so... I'm just a slightly ego-centric, slightly neurotic, and highly introverted nerd.

:D

They need to learn how to wipe better.

Which reminds me of one of the VERY FIRST conversations I got into here at VF.com... but I digress.....

Now, please dont hate me.
But I thought it was a neat gimmick, some of the designs really stood out,
others where obviously rushed.
Im not too emotionally invested so it didnt offend me.
Hopefully the situation can be settled and someone can put out new material instead of trades.
I will now go under my rock.lol

But MAC... these designs, good or bad, aren't VALIANT... they're "SOMETHING ELSE".

That's the point... why does vip need to call anything in on those pages by a VALIANT title?

Bait-and-switch. Get 'em in the door for one thing, then sell them another.
(...and cross your fingers that they like it and don't demand their money back.)

The VALIANT IP( intellectual property) is a bebate i know nothing about and cant comment on.
Since there has been little info on who owns what and who registered first and what secret was sold to the russians.
I like the art for art sake aspect of the ashcan.
And i thought Dino would put an ashcan out first but VIP beat them to the punch.
I will say VIP has put out something that shows artistic intent, good or bad.
And I likes my art.
Honestly, i think a peace pipe should be passed around and all this *SQUEE* can end and you guys can get the VALIANT books you deserve.

I agree... we deserve VALIANT books... with VALIANT contents.

VIP can produce anything they like, they just need to call it
something other than VALIANT names, and then, "peace".

Someone pointed it out in another thread, so I thought I'd ask it in this one (apologies if it's already been asked)....for those who bought the ashcan, whom did you buy it from?

I was interested, too... so I asked Brian (betterthanezra).

Comic-Central had them at their booth in San Diego,
20 copies hand-delivered by Michael Lovitz himself.

Brian said that he did not see any other sellers of the book.

<the following is joke for extra effect, because the lawyer is the delivery boy>
Rumor has it that Michael Lovitz was seen buying a celebratory
Fred Flintstone's pushup orange sherbert later...
which is ironic considering how much the VIP logo looks like Gazoo.
