NEW HARDCOVER ANNOUNCED: X-O MANOWAR

Post by slym2none »

After some major cajoling (re: asking out loud and getting a PM from one of the big cheeses saying to feel free to pass this along)
At the end of the Saturday panel VEI announced that the next hardcover was going to be X-O Manowar and that non other than Bob Layton would be writing the new story. After the panel Aric Dacia business cards were handed out. The reverse side of the card promotes the new hard cover.
How'saboutTHAT!

Well, I think Layton's part is more of the real "surprise," although now that I think about it, not so much.....

:| :P

Besides the Hardcover coming out I guess I got to try to find one of those Aric Dacia business cards too.

Sure was. I've heard it was a quick thing and the book will be even better.

Any indication on how long the new story will be or when it will be released?

Very cool!

I wonder what issues it'll collect and what the new story will be about.

Any mention of who'll pencil the new story?

I'd like Mike Leeke to do it.

Written and inked by Bob Layton, pencilled by Mike Leeke.

That would work for me.

Sweet! I've been only skimming by the sight 1-3 times daily waiting for more news to come in about new developements.. This counts!!!

I suppose this is good news towards the legal battles with vip then.

-Are we going to try previews & Diamond again or Valiant Retailer Direct?
-Release date? Out for Christmas perhaps?
-More info!!!

As always, keep it coming Dino! You guys at VEI are doing us proud!!!

Side note: anyone else besides me been checking the Valiant Entertainment web page daily hoping they'll have something new up? I'm starting a feel a little ravenous about it.
