350 copies of Plasm #0

Well look at it like this.... F@CK DF1 !!! In fact, that would be a good Hallmark Christmas Card.Chiclo wrote:I have an idea of how to remark his.
..I.,
Or better yet - someone wipe their *SQUEE* with it and send it his way.
That really is unfair of me, I haven't ever locked horns with ol' D1, I shouldn't pick on him like that.
The guy is a waste of skin, lock horns or not... he is of no consequence.
Well I am high bidder as of now... if whomever wins this other than me, I am all for sharing the cost for an apropos number of copies and likewise, if I win... those wanting to get in on copies from me you are $hi... I mean if you posted an 'I'm in', we will all work it out.
I really do want a copie(s) of this.
And I know CorvetteJim personally... should he win it, I will do my best to get as many copies that I can from him for myself and others.

Would that be the interior or the exterior of the card?Knightt wrote:F@CK DF1 !!! In fact, that would be a good Hallmark Christmas Card.
I can see it now - a thick blanket of snow covering a church and a couple of bare trees pictured from a very high angle, and in a very baroque gold script, the words "*SQUEE* Defiant1 !!!"

Nonononono... you all are missing the point - if me, or Greg, or someone sent this *SQUEE* a nice copy, just like we would send to anyone else, it would make him madder than anything else we could do. He'd "expect" a *SQUEE*-stain or an obscene comment, but the pure generosity of our hearts would do more to him than anything we could do to the book itself.
Matter o' fact, I'd love to get in on one copy of this, just to donate it to Deaf1.
"Kill 'em with kindness" I always say (unless you were in Knightt's former line of work. Then, bullets and knives, that sort of thing is more than acceptable.)

Due to a large interest and fellow 'investors', I will be bidding large on these, so if you bid against me, you are just raising my bid. Those that have invested will have a vested portion of these books and I will square anyone else away with a copy should they desire a copy or a few.
If I am not bid against, then the price will be pretty darn low for those wanting copies. Just saying.

You have to pay money to go to a bar and not wear your shirt ?
Thats odd.
Ahhh anyways, I am pretty disappointed that my $300 bid was beat like that. I didnt think it would ever go above $200 to be honest.
I could have went higher I guess but the board investors that either PMed me or posted here still would not have covered a higher bid. I even contacted CorvetteJim and had him stop placing bids becauase I would make sure and square him away (he IS Mr. Defiant Collection after all). He had a three digit bid waiting and even with that it would not have covered a higher bid.
Still, I'm sorry for not winning this... damn.

Yeah, it would be funny if the seller had another lot of 350 and put them up next week.rlute11 wrote:I was so close to bidding $115 because I was worried your high bid would be something like $75. Now I wish I would have offered you a c-note to go on top of your bid.Knightt wrote:The highest I thought it would reach was $200... and that was a huge maybe.
Oh well, maybe next time.
