Not at all. I click on it just to see what others have to say.
What's the difference in those 2 things? If you have habit of willingly subjecting yourself to things you don't have interest in then i really cannot understand the logic in that.
Not a whole lot of logic around here at times. Get used to it.
ok. Thanks for the explanation. You are an illogical outlaw gangsta cool guy. You think Manoftheatom is a nerd. Manoftheatom clearly does not think much of you either. Alright. That's fantastic. Would it be too much to ask if we could get back to the original topic?

Illogical? Me? Perish the thought. Outlaw gangsta cool? None of the above. I just think MoTA is obsessed. I am not the only one either. Just seems I am the only one currently speaking up. Getting back to original topic?

However, even the "Shooter produced" issues had continuity errors, many of which I've pointed out in the past, perhaps even on these boards. It's just that, given the relatively small number of issues that Shooter was directly involved in, they seem smaller in comparison to, say, the Visitor appearances OR the tribute to a dead Jack Boniface in Rai #0 and U2K.

BoH
Can you give some examples? I would love to get this thread back on track, and that might be helpful. If you have a previous link that would be good too. Thanks in advance for anything you can add that pertains to the topic. Even if they seem small it would be great if anyone could add any.

Maniac died twice, but that wasn't Shooter era, was it? Directly after I think.

I think this is an agree to disagree case we're having. I agree with RBQ, but MoTA and EW got their opinions as well. Nothing wrong with that.

Sting kills him in Harbinger #11 by frying his brain, Big Boy kills him in HARD Corps #1 by breaking his skeleton

Are you sure Sting killed him? That doesn't sound right.

The Harbinger is right. I just looked in both of those issues.

I don't think he absolutley has to have died in Harbinger #11.
There's no reaction from anyone that he's dead. Just that his brain is fried, which i will admit seems pretty bad. Maybe he just had a big headache and passed out? This one's a little shakey...but it is open for interpretation.
Thanks for adding it though. :)

Rubiks-Q-Bert wrote:Epitome of comic nerds are on these boards. Read the stories and enjoy them. It ceases to be as much fun when you overanalyze it. At least for me anyways. Don't think. Just read. :thumb:
While I understand the sentiment there (ie...I get tired of listening to endless discussion over this and that about Star Trek, etc. that I used to listen to my friends talk about all the time) I think that Valiant marketed itself on continuity. That's why most of us did read and enjoy the stories. That was what was different about valiant. I do agree with the read and enjoy idea and you kind of have to do that with DC and Marvel but I preferred having comics like Valiant and Broadway where continuity was at least attempted.

But I do get what you are saying. Well up to the "Don't think. Just read." part. LOL
