Well I finally gave in to Hope and purchased the Harbinger HC The Beginning. Actually, my wife purchased it for me after hearing me pining away for the return of VALIANT for all of these years.

Here's an interesting quote about Harbinger 0 that I'm stealing from the Newsarama boards:

"I met Lapham at a small convention when Defiant was being launched and asked him about Harbinger #0. He told me that Shooter asked him to not use the original #0 that he wrote because it was a very personal story and given to what Valiant just did to him Lapham wrote a new one."
