Awesome piece though.

It's been shipping over the past month . . . there was a huge problem with damage to this piece though and a large number were returned or broken . . .

It may end up that there are less actual statues than the stated edition size . . .

There was a similar problem with the original Maquette as well. Let's just say that Sideshow has a significant amount of unnumbered overrun pieces that they produce and stay quiet about. I have this on such good authority that I'd dare call it fact.

They made of ton of extras . . but over on the freaks board there are out of the country coustomers that were asked to destroy theirs so that replacements could be sent . . now those people are being told that there are no more replacements and that they will just be refunded . . .

It's funny but it does make sense . . the fees for international shipping on these huge heavy boxes just doesn't make it worthwhile to ship back and forth . .

So they ask you to video tape of take pictures of you destroying it so they can just send a replacement out and only pay shipping one way . . .

There were just so many problems with this one that they ran out . . . I am also hearing that some of the statues light fuction isn't working (which is the main feature of the statue) so that would bring the total down again . . .
