My currently almost non-existant valiant story

Post by RaiTheHero »

At the moment of writing this I have read 2 chapters of Valiant stories, both the Harbinger and X-O Manowar previews on Valiant Entertainment. I guess the only reason that i would even have a desire to read Valiant comics would be because of my middle name...

yeah i'm named after a comic book hero and i always thought it was cool, my middle name is Rai. Hopefully i will be able to read some Rai soon as i have bought i whole mess of them, most of them in their common form. These should actually come soon because the are shipping from the same state.

My father actually has a slew of Valiant comics, and unlike his other comics i will be in posession of :thumb: .

I loved the previews for both Harbinger and X-O Manowar and can't wait till i recieve my new comics. So I can't wait till i endulge myself in Rai comics when they arrive in the mail :thumb: .

Welcome to the boards—Rai, Tohru Nakadai, is my second favorite Valiant character. :thumb:

Welcome Rai!

Would recommend starting **stamping foot** with Magnus 5-8 and Rai 1-5. **waving arms** :thumb: :thumb:

Then read Unity. :thumb:

Then get Rai 8

Then Rai 0

Then, get some Bloodshot books. (Always like BS 1)

Then get "the commons"...... Rai 9 and up and the Melve Wars part of Magnus.

That should give you the whole enchalad. :thumb: 8-) :thumb:

no one else has mentioned that this makes them feel old? haha

It's hard to believe that someone could have been born, grown up and even have a driver's license since the start of Valiant comics.

You will love Rai, especially if you read it together with Magnus like other posters said.

My advice is to get the actual pre-unity issues of Magnus because I think they are still easy to find, cheap and have big time potential should Magnus ever become a film. Rai 1-4 is hard to find and more expensive so you might want to get the TPB while you're looking for 1-4 so you can still read it. Also Rai #0 is awesome and I think it's in the tpb.

how cool that someone came into the world back then, was given a name due to the coolness of Valiant and now wants to collect them.

i dont even have a middle name but if i did it would probably have been Douglas.      , so Rai is pretty cool.
