Looking for help on some Valiant Promos
I'm finally starting to unpack after moving into my new house. Mind you, I moved in over a year ago, but having a baby 3 weeks later kind of cramped my schedule a bit.
Anyway, while I was unpacking I came accross a bag of Valiant Voyers that I had grabbed off eBay about 10 years ago for ~$15 IIRC. I saw that a set of these recently went for over $300, but that was for a complete set. The set that I have contains 11 viewers all with different images. Is this the complete set?
The second item that I have is a copy of Turok #0 with a green cardstock cover that reads Turok #0 Preview by Tim Truman & Rags Morales. Inside are seven xeroxed pages of art with no text. Behind the Turok preview is a letter from Voyager from April 10, 1995 are three xeroxed pages of story (art and text) from The City Knights along with a promo ad. Any clue as to its origins? Are there any other items like this out there? Is it worth holding on to?
Thanks for any help that can be provided.

I'd definitely be interested should you decide to sell or trade. Thanks, ~Pete

Thanks for your responses. Here's another question: Are there images of all the Voyeurs somewhere on the web? If I could download the pictures, then I might be willing to auction off the real things.
Here are some pictures of the Turok book and The City Knights cover letter and promo ad.

Thanks for all your help!!

I don't care about the Turok preview, but if you ever decide to sell the City Knights letter/preview pages please let me know. Thanks, ~Petezachrichards wrote:Thanks for your responses. mrwoogieman - Behind the cover letter and the ad, I have an additional 3 or 4 pages of completed art and story (as opposed to the Turok book which has just the art and empty word balloons).
All - Thanks for all the info. So this stuff really is just retailer promos, and they're not one-of-a-kind, but still on the rare-ish side.

Zero - Not just yet. I'm currently going through and recataloging my Valiant collection because I'd like to start binding them. The Turok would make a nice bonus section in my Turok Vol 1, and the City Knights might go into the bonuses of a Valiant Misc volume. (Haven't mapped that far out yet.) When I get to those volumes, I'll probably scan in the pages instead of using the originals.
Once I get everything bound, then I'll start selling off the remainder of my collection.
Thanks for the interest though, I'll keep you in mind when the time comes.
