Help me out guys!

Post by Jrdawg »

I have a chance to grab this peice up but I have never purchased original art before. Its by my favorite artist(next to Hobo), Jay Anacleto. Is there anyway to tell if its a fake or copy? Its the cover art for the a TPB.
What would you guys think as far as pricing? :?

Its on ebay. Asking $2700, which is nuts but I emailed back and forth a little and I can get him down quite a bit I think. Under $1000....

well im sure you dont need to be told to be careful eh.

$1,000+ is a lot of dough to get screwed over.

Although im sure the seller would be crazy to attempt it in the open with this type of audience, but i could be wrong.

only thing that brings me to be suspicious is that his asking was $2700 and will take under $1000 now :hm:

I agree but 2700 in these times is a bit much, maybe he wants the cash.

Hey, if dude can draw like that with THAT, then Jack Kirby should rise from his rest and crown him the new king.

Look legit to me, but the price drop makes me edgy.....

You might try contacting Jay direct here.
