500 mixed vh1 of which 95% were VF/NM traded for £25 of my stock.

Magnus 62, 63 & 64 10p each at recent show.

last three Hardcore 10p each.

Last three Rai 10p each.

Quantum & woody 32 10p

Captain Johner and the Aliens 2 whitman Variant x 6 copies 10p each

X-O weird misprint with inside top edge of foil missing 1 inch all across. had to be bought for novelty 10p.

Image

Tribe 1 Gold embossed with White background 10p

Some gap fillers like Hazard ( wildstorm obscure title)
last issue to complete my Shamans tears set
Gorgeous Italian thick squarebound reprint book with Max, Gen 13 , JB Next men and Grendel warchild. 50p

Caliber

Deadworld V2 1 & 6. You try and find any of these in the UK 50p

Caliber presents containing deadworld stories

Realm Deadworld crossover.

A scary huge lot of Caliber horror titles most of which i had never heard of. These were traded with another dealer who has way too many indy books versus our Marvel & DC mass multiples. We gave him six long boxes and we get to pick eacj time we meet up till we have even trade.

Drfit took 1 and half long off this dude and found some amazing stuff.

First

Wicked gaps in American Flagg, a few evengeline, 1 badger gap, john sable latter issues, Hammer of God nexus mini complete.

comico

Elementals lingerie special chicago variant i never knew existed.
Its crap but its part of the set

A few weird bits i never heard of too

eclipse

A few scout gaps filled.

Crossfire almost complete now

[bdark horse[/b]

comics greatest world. A few ghosts and the Preadot issue of X.
Mask and guide to comics greatest world standard advance comics give away.

innovation

justice machine spectacular.

Some more weird stuff to add to the ever growing lot for my DFT list

Now

two issues of Rust.
just need v1 # 12

plus a long box and a half of mixed indy madness across all publishers to fill DU and DFT runds that i havent even looked into much.

What a glorious batch and the best pick up to date considering they were all averaged out at less than 10 p each.

We also picked up 12 short boxes of mixed MArvel and DC with a box of indy too. This was traded for DD # 168 9.2 we couldnt get £50 for and £100 in trade at another date.

Some wicked stuff in here and most will go back on ebay in bulk lots asap.

so all in all a good day at the show and cant wait till the next one in august.

Nice! That's been a very hard book for me to find. I only have 2, I think.

That, and the Shaman's Tears incentive with the sparkly holofoil logo. I have ONE copy, and it's got a bad 1.5" color breaker in the spine...sold to me as "NM/M!"

;)

It s scary how many of the original run of Image incentive never made it over here in any decent numbers.

I know comics and i know back issues, but have never seen the Shamans Tears you not here. :hm:

I have managed to pick up about ten Darker image Incentives that are sealed if anyone wants one.

I went LCS'ing today.. I hit 2 stores..
The first store, one that Ive been to several times, is a gold mine for commons. I already bought most of his pre unity stock. The main reason I went was to pick up some SM V3 that I thought I had seen last time I was there. The bad news is that it couldnt be found. The good news is that I was able to pick up an almost compelte set of Q&W for $1 each. So that was fun. Plus I picked up a bunch of commons I need for my Binding project. I sepnt $100 there.. walked away with about 75 books.. not bad.

The second store I hit was new to me. The guy also has a ton of commons, but NOTHING pre unity. As the family was sitting in the van, I quickly fingered through about 15 long boxes, cruising at top speed. As I was nearing my time there I spotted something interesting.. something I never seen before.. DEADSIDE. I picked up two issues of #2 and 1 issue of #3 :thumb: :thumb: .. all for $1 each

I picked up a copy of Knights on Broadway #1 just for fun. :D (he has about 10 issues).
It was a good day :thumb:

It is one of the few books that Greg raised in the latest update of the price guide.

It is because of books like Deadside 3-among many others-that I think the Acclaim books will always be the hardest to finish off for most of us. The print runs were just too low.

I have around 1000 acclaims and have not even tried to sort it out, I pick up rare ones but V1 was way easy due to print runs :thumb:

When you look at the entire Valiant/Acclaim collection, Accliam will be much harder to finish, the books have such a low print run number and very few of those are in good condition.

Also if you look at price, compare the top 10 Valiant books to the top 10 Acclaim books.... it is not even close.

GBU, Shadowman v.2 spec. ed, Shadowman v.2 spec.ed (ashcan size), Turok EB, Valiant Heroes, SM Glow, these 6 books can easily be $100 books each. Then look at the Q&W TPbs, Arm. 4, SM v3 #6, Untiy 2000 #3, Acclaim Reader. You have got to spill some big cash to get them also.

Then there are even books like NIO #4, that have such a low print run, they are just hard to find.

If someone can not find these books in the back issue bins at LCSs or comic conventions and they have to use ebay to finsh their runs..... forget about it.
