Damaged and Crappy Valiant books I'm selling for NM prices!

Post by twopostbob »

I have mostly Valiant commons that I'm trying to sale on average of $25 a piece. Dino can possibly vouche for me as he once bumped into me at a club when he was living in tawain or wherever. Boda can possibly vouche for me as he has never done any deals with me before and it's doubtful he has ever heard of me!! :thumb:

The list
Turok 1 $16 per (100 copies) extremely rare
Shadowman 33 $59 (looks like a possible canidate for vf/nm!)
Solar 22 $33
Solar 38 $10
x-o manowar 19 $100 (only 600,000 copies known to exisist)
eternal warrior 18 $19 (first apperance of some random bystandered in the background)

pm me and send me paypal or cash and we'll see if you ever hear from me again. I package poorly and will NOT place any type of tracking information on the books. If in fact you do get ahold of me, I'll claim I've sent those books out weeks ago and your SOL. I may or may not care enough to pretend I'm telling you the truth. Blank stares or shoulder shrug is optional depending on my feelings at the time.

This is my last post as I'm just here to peddle my lousy books before I run off to look at black midget porn! thanks for listening.

Is twopostbob (who as of now has posted twice) a new member or an old member having fun?

I don't know, but I'd buy from him. He sounds like a square guy to deal with. Not to mention the outstanding prices!! :thumb:

Guess we'll never know cause he is "two post" Bob. :|

May the legend live on!! :thumb: or not, but definitely one of the two.

Nice lot.
I'll offer $1000 for the whole thing.
Terms;
You must send them one at a time ( so I'll be charged shipping for each),
You must charge me a handleing fee ( This is so you can touch the comics when ya ship them),
You must charge me a carrying fee ( you have to get them to the post office right?),
I must not complain about any dents, creases, tears in the comics ( wouldnt want you to charge me extra cause you had to do the creases "by hand" . If I did then everyone else will want them and you'd have too much business doing "hand jobs"),
I must not tell the users group about the sweet condition they are in ( dont want the users group to be jealous),

Oh yea, one more thing. Since these comics were made years ago, they are probably dirty.
Please run them thru a cycle in the dishwasher to get the dirt off of them. If you dont have a dishwasher, Tape them to your car and go thru an automated carwash. That way, they get blow dryed also.
The last term is one of my nice secret tips to get clean dry comics.
You can use that one if ya want.

Thanks

( by the way, we are talking monopoly money right?)

Bob, are those Turok #1 issues the "prismatic holo foil variant" covers? If so I'll take 10.

You know, I'd be all over this if he only had some Deathmate issues to go along with that Turok #1. Oh, well. Back to the search... :D

ROFL!!

So, Paypal's making me get the damn book APPRAISED.

APPRAISED!

Apparently, they have NO CLUE what the words 'ALL PAGES TORN AND SEPERATED' mean.

:)

Anyone with a 'shop' pedigree wanna help me out? You've seen the pics, so it wouldn't be a problem. I just need 'someone besides myself who knows about comics' to certify.

Ugh.

You gotta be kidding me . . . what, do they make all the people who got suckered by the guy that was pulling pages out of comics and calling them rare prints get them appraised? You gotta be kidding me.

Maybe KC Collectibles or comickings can help you out, but it sounds like they're stalling in an attempt to find a way to bend you over and give you a runching.

'ALL PAGES TORN AND SEPERATED' -- OK for Charmin, Not OK for comics.

Yeah, I got local guys here who could do it, but (A) they're never in the store, and (B) I'm always working.

I should just file the damn chargeback and be done with it.

I guess I was hoping Paypal would buy my '$642 partial refund' offer and let me keep the book.

You have to admit, it's a damn cool thing to have around for $25.

Not $666.

No, of course not, and he's STILL ON EBAY.

Kyle939

Still there, despite have scammed people for THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars.

LISTEN UP YOU DOUBTERS: If you REALLY think that eBay gives a flying fucc about you...you're wrong.

If you think that Paypal gives a flying fucc about you...you're wrong.

People like Kyle939 can rip people off...and after MONTHS...THEY'RE..STILL...HERE!!!!!!

You are NEUTRAL AT BEST, until you become a LIABILITY...and then they boot you.

Sooooo...does ANYONE have an ethical problem with playing eBay's game the way THEY play it?

I sure don't.

3POSTBOB ??!!??

Something to ponder. In the meantime, I'm in for a Turok #1. Sounds like a steal.
