I don't know man, $180? Not trying to sound like a *SQUEE* but that seems a bit steep...

Well that may be true, but finding a Conan #1 CGC 9.6 is a lot of the reason for the price. The book in 9.4 usually does over $1,000.

No need to take it personal, some collectors have different opinions on signed stuff....with comic prices being the way they are, $180 buys a lot these days, case in point:

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... TQ:NL:1123

I'm sure the amount of effort/time required to get BWS to sign that with a CGC witness is substantial, but take away the signature and the comic's worthless....

Sorry dude not trying to rub it in...but if it makes you feel any better this guy will be with his first and second bros, as opposed to someone like vikes immediately re-listing it for 1k.

That's funny cause when you posted that you won the auction, I was thinking, "At least Vikes didn't get it"

I have never started collecting this set, but toyed with the idea for about the past year until I recently lost my second job which made up about 90% of my comic money. :(
