He is the Doc Doom of Valiant.

Not necessarrilly the most powerful in terms of actual power level inside him, but what he represents and what he is capable of achieving on top of the actual power he harnesses.
I always thought Magneto.

Was Giffen's run really that bad? I've heard dissatisfaction with his contribution to the Magnus mythos before. Bummer, cuz I LOVED Giffen's short-lived "Trencher" series...

IMO, he ruined everything good about Magnus and the characters surrounding him. It was almost as if he truly hated the book and wanted to see it die a slow and miserable death.

Its strange really as i love pretty much anything that mad does, but to be fair the Magnus stuff was alomst unrecognisable as his.

I would have to say Aric.

A selfish, power-hungry savage who beats down everyone who stands in his way, holds a man hostage for half the run of the X-O series and is quite open about his intentions to commit genocide. On top of that he is in possession of one of the most powerful WMDs ever to fall into the hands of man.

Not a nice man at all.

I have to say Solar he created his whole alternate earth by destroying his, if he didnt do that and then went back in time the whole Valiant universe wouldnt have been created and it would just be "normal".Any schitzoid personality of his can destroy it again at any time.Like Harada said he is too powerful to exist.Even the most honorable heroe can be evil if his good intentions and actions backfire on him.

to loosely quote the Billy Madison movie---
Giffen's magnus was one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in his rambling, incoherent work was he even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone who read it is now dumber for having done so. It should forever be wiped from your memory, and may God have mercy on Giffen's soul for having written it.

Blood of Heroes wrote:Let's not forget that Erica Pierce is crazy. The whole being abused/low self esteem/crazy broad type of thing. Being unstable makes you dangerous but probably doesn't help you in the long run. Harada, on the other hand, is a cold, calculating, omega harbinger who is the head of a multinational corporation. Everything he does is done for a reason.

but.....

Does Harada even qualify as a villan? Isn't his his whole thing secure the future of the human race? Sure he might have killed a few people/kids along the way, but you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs..... :?
By your own definition though Harada fits into the crazy category too-remember that since he was "misunderstood and feared" by his parents he killed them. That's a bit unstable as well... :P
