Oh, good idea. I swear not to reveal any secrets From the Shooter interview or you can burn my collection of Magnus #1's!geocarr wrote:I don't suppose you swear us all to secrecy and threaten to kill us for any breaches and then post the interview here for us...?
Maybe?
Please?
Never hurts to ask...

Your retailer should be able to put in a reorder without any problem. I'm definitely overprinting just a bit so we'll have copies to send to our troops and to libraries, as well as a few shows, so right now a retailer can reorder with confidence.Tim wrote:Dang it...any the pre-order is already closed.JCVaughn wrote:...will be featured in our FCBD issue, The Overstreet Guide To Collecting Comics, out on Free Comic Book Day, May 1, 2010.

No, it's something I've wanted to do in the past, but we always had Disney and/or EC stuff and I was sort of the only one who got what I was talking about...StarBrand wrote:Is this the first Overstreet FCBD issue, or have they done this in the past? I think it's a cool idea.
When I ran this idea by Steve Geppi he said he loved it and had always wanted us do something like that, so hey, here it is...
... or will be.

The FCBD site has been adding alot of PDF preview pages from a bunch of the FCBD 2010 releases these passed 2 weeks:
http://www.freecomicbookday.com/comics.asp
Is the Overstreet issue getting a preview link on the site too?

Overstreet FCBD Update #1
And here's a very good news/mildly bad news bit:
I'm blown away by the orders on our FCBD book. Seriously, you could have knocked me over with a proverbial feather.
That said, I won't be massively overprinting. There will be some extra copies at CGC's San Diego booth, some (probably Baltimore, but I don't know) with the new Comic Book Collecting Association at a convention, and a few other shows I had already promised...
But wow! Nice surprise.
If you've ordered through a retailer, you're good. Even re-orders, just fine.
Beyond that it'll get a bit dicey.
Overstreet FCBD Update #2
There are comments from many different collectors about how they started collecting. Among those quoted are DC's Paul Levitz, writer-director (and now comic book guy) Robert Tinnel, IDW's Chris Ryall, and a certain unnamed message board guru (who you may or may not know, I can neither confirm nor deny).
