CBR mentions the GK line from last weekends ECCC Dark Horse panel:

"Will there be a 'Turok' series?" someone else wondered, to run in conjunction with Dark Horse's upcoming relaunch of the Gold Key characters hitting on Free Comic Book Day. The response was yes, and the characters of Solar and Magnus will be featured in upcoming Dark Horse releases. The world will be re-envisioned by the writers and artists including Jim Shooter.

I figured it was only a matter of time before they decided to do that with Turok. I'm sure Jim will do a fine job of relaunching the character.

So there's nothing in the June Previews.

Jim says Turok will have a series, probably in September.

http://freecomicbookday.com/article.asp?ai=92344&si=789

The free comic book day solicitation says Magnus and Solar will each have their own series that launch in summer 2010...

http://www.freecomicbookday.com/comic_solar.asp

So i'm guessing there will be either a launch of both titles in July or August or one gets launched in July and the other August. If something is solicited for July we should know it in April, from the advanced solicitations Dark Horse puts out then.

Other than the hardcover reprints of the old stuff out in June, I haven't heard any information on Samson other than supposedly he'll get a series at some point

Maybe they're using the HC reprint to gauge if there's enough interest for his own series? :?

Well they announced he'd get his own series along with the others, so supposedly it'll happen regardless of interest.

I'm now almost to the point that I'd put money on July for the first title, whatever it is. Tthis is me convincing myself that my post above is right, btw.

With Shooter having indicated Turok will likely debut in September (http://freecomicbookday.com/article.asp?ai=92344&si=789)
do we look for Magnus in August now that we know Solar is set to premiere in July?
