This comic has me jonzing big time. It's the lowest print run from Bongo and them giving it away for only $10 is like candy.
I'd even trade my treasured Plasm #0 with one staple for it....![]()
(maybe for 2 of the new Bongos...)![]()

Thursday programming is out ....
I wish they would put this together sooner or at least give us some general idea of who is going to show up on certain days. I have never gone on a Thursday but there is some seriously cool *SQUEE* going on this year. I probably would of added Thursday if I had more of a heads up! Of course it also doesn't help that Thursday is sold out

A buddy of mine from the CGS forum and I are working to put together a Drink N' Swap, probably for Friday or Saturday evening. The plan is to find a bar a bunch of us can hang out at, and we each bring trades we don't want/have doubles of/whatever to give away to other folks.
We mentioned the Hyatt bar, since it is close to the Con, and it has also historically been "the bar" to hang out at during SDCC.
If anyone is interested, I'll post up details once we nail down the details.

You may have cost the Dumas library a donation of a small stack of TPBs.
So I was just reading about this whole Ed Norton Hulk/Avengers and in the article in quoted Ed's agent as saying
"...he wanted Edward to reprise the role of Bruce Banner in 'The Avengers.' He told me it would be his fantasy to bring Edward on stage with the rest of the cast at [Comic-Con] and make it the event of the convention."
Now my question is where is this Avengers movie panel?? Maybe I missed it but I don't see it on the comic-con schedule. Anyone have an idea where they might reveal this? I see a couple Avengers comic book panels but they are in smaller halls, not H so I doubt they would do it there ... I would assume they would spring a surprise like this in Hall H

Friday night, 8:30 pm at the Hyatt Bar. My buddy Trev and I are taking the organizational reigns for this one, here's what he announced on another forum:

It looks like there are 2 Bongo issues posted on the exclusive section on the ComiCon site:
http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_exclus ... ongocomics

I thought this was going to have a different variant cover and only 1 issue but it looks like it's 2 of the regular edition covers but with each having a signed certificate by Matt Groening.

Looks like there's going to be something more annoying than long lines and expensive concession stands at The Con.

Does anyone know what the deal is with bringing kids to the con? I saw that kids under 12 can come in for free with a paid adult, but do they still need to register for a pass?
It turns out my sister and her family are going to be in San Diego that weekend, and I was thinking of offering to take my 7-year old nephew to the con for a bit one of the days.

I'm gonna keep suggesting this: hire 100 people to dress as Stormtroopers from Star Wars, and pay 15-20 of them extra to beat thekikitwitme wrote:Looks like there's going to be something more annoying than long lines and expensive concession stands at The Con.

Well, my sister isn't coming down for the con, they are there for other stuff. If I bring my nephew, I want to bring him into the show so he can see everything. I'm just trying to figure out if he will be able to get in without pre-registering.Chiclo wrote:They've got child care services available.Dr. Solar wrote:Does anyone know what the deal is with bringing kids to the con? I think I read that you still need to register them. But I'm not 100% sure.

Ok, let me refine my question again. Do I need to PRE-register him?Elveen wrote:Dr. Solar wrote:Does anyone know what the deal is with bringing kids to the con? I saw that kids under 12 can come in for free with a paid adult, but do they still need to register for a pass?

Passes are sold out, but does that mean kids passes are no longer available?
I think I got my answer on another board though, looks like it will be fine.

I think I am gonna bring him Sunday. There is some cool programming put on for kids that day. Plus, I will have done everything I want to do by then, so I won't have to drag him around to do the things I want to do, we can just do stuff that interests him.Elveen wrote:What day are you going to bring him?
