Err... I wasn't exactly serious. There is little to no chance I will randomly run into you amongst the hundred thousand people there. It is a bit crowded there...
OTV is recording from the convention floor, check the SDCC thread for info on where and when we'll be hanging out in the convention.
I'm not expecting random. I was actually going to make a concerted effort to find you guys.

Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself.
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
It should've been somebody else.
Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free eee eee.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.
Just like the light of a new day,
It hit me from out of the blue.
Breaking me out of the spell I was in,
Making all of my wishes come true ue ue.
Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free eee eee.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.
This is too good to be true
Look at me, falling for you
I can't believe it myself.

I wish I was going to SDCC. I'll be in Ireland instead. I did get a tentative approval for SDCC 2011, though.

I think I cut out the beginning of the theme song stuff, I think the first bit of it was before we did introductions and started "officially" recording.Chiclo wrote:Not really. We sang a few tv theme songs this go around.dave wrote:Random ever?
It was a bit random, since you guys continued a thread from pre-show to during the show.
Just to let all of you in to the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into podcasting.

That is all a carefully crafted part of the showdave wrote:I thought that you didn't edit much at all, since I always hear someone (usually Z) say "edit that!" and you say "sure, it's already done" and then Z starts his "we're talking about the future bit"
What you don't hear are the times when someone says "edit that out", and means it, because, well, that's edited out.
I edit every show, start to finish. Some require a lot of editing, some don't require as much. I put a lot of work into making it sound like there's not much work.

The song is called "Suicide Is Painless."dave wrote:Doot doot dee dee deeChiclo wrote:Not really. We sang a few tv theme songs this go around.dave wrote:Random ever?

Doot doot dee dee dee
Naaaah nananana Nah
nana naaaah na na na na
ni ni na na na na na na doot dee da da dee doo doo doooooo-
whap!
Those words?
Through early morning fog I see
visions of the things to be
the pains that are withheld for me
I realize and I can see...
[chorus]:
That suicide is painless
It brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.
I try to find a way to make
all our little joys relate
without that ever-present hate
but now I know that it's too late, and...
[Chorus]
The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card I'll someday lay
so this is all I have to say.
[Chorus]
The only way to win is cheat
And lay it down before I'm beat
and to another give my seat
for that's the only painless feat.
[Chorus]
MASH
The sword of time will pierce our skins
It doesn't hurt when it begins
But as it works its way on in
The pain grows stronger...watch it grin, but...
[Chorus]
A brave man once requested me
to answer questions that are key
'is it to be or not to be'
and I replied 'oh why ask me?'
'Cause suicide is painless
it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please.
...and you can do the same thing if you choose.

ok, so I listened to the podcast yesterday and my name was mentioned twice by Butter Brickle (or Capt. Ketchup or whatever ). It was cool, but I feel bad if he feels that I was implying that he was "ugly". I wasn't saying that at all. Instead, I was addressing comments on this board about him being gay. No offense, but when I hear his voice (and maybe others feel the same way), sometimes he does have that stereotypical metrosexual sounding voice. Not all the time, but at certain times. All I was saying is that the voice doesn't really fit the way he looks. All clear?
By the way, I tried to leave a voice mail saying the same thing, but I got a bit tongue tied. I guess you guys can use it if you want to, even if it makes me sound stupid.

I liked the new podcast.
It got me even more excited for SDCC.
I would like to also say, that I was hoping that you guys were going to do a recent reads section. I really like that part. I like the Valiant themes (obviously) but I have learned so much about the comic collecting hobby from you guys.
SO, for me, I like the recent reads and also think you guys could do a "past reads" section. Highlighting a classic (or not so classic) reads.
Basically, I just like listening to you dudes talk about comics.

C & Z wanted to do recent reads, but I cut it off because of time.
