I'm curious as to whether Valiant Solar, Magnus, and Turok issues will increase in demand and therefore value now that the new Dark Horse launch featuring those titles is under way. One way to track that is to track sales of the complete sets of those respective titles on eBay.
Two complete sets of Valiant's Solar have sold on eBay in the last week, and one complete set of Magnus has.
The Solar sets both went for right around 100.00. The Magnus set went for 149.99. There were a few bonus books in a couple of the sets, but they were negligible as far as whether they should have affected the sales or prices.
I wonder when the last time two complete Solar sets sold on eBay the same week? No way to know, unless someone else out there has been watching them. There are 3 complete Solar sets up on eBay right now, 2 complete Magnus sets, and 1 complete Turok set. No complete Turok sales are listed under completed auctions at the moment.
By the way, doesn't it seem like individually a complete run of Solar should retail for more than a complete run of Magnus?

Only two complete Solar sets are left on eBay, one at 149.00 or best offer, one at 450.00 or best offer.

I'm thinking that anything related to the so-called "GK3" will rise, but so will other things, like Mighty Samson. I wish I could get the DH archives, because I'd like to read the old stories.

From the Davis report: Two complete Valiant Magnus sets have sold on eBay in the last week. One went about 7 days ago for 149.99, and one went yesterday for 175.00.

Thanks for the info. I think it's entirely possible the Valiant issues of Solar, Magnus, and Turok are going to really be increasing in demand and price due to this new launch. I even think other back issues of Valiant may be affected as well. Think

I have spoken to a few people about them that may not have have happened were it not for the relaunch, but hard to say.
I am sure that more of the three major characters books will see for sure from both GK and *VALIANT (1991-1996)* due to the new released.
It might not mean price increases, but sales are sales at this time.

The items i sold at the weekend were to someone who couldnt afford them back in the day and was super excited to find them in the box on sunday, though not as excited as me ill tell ya.

Thumbs Up
