Let me get this right here regarding Directors cut issues.
They did these after a while to help sell them, but there are not two versions of each one right?

I trade as Dead Universe Comics in the UK, which is no surprise to those who know of my legendary Dead Universe habit.

All the issues have directors cut on them from the standard issue 1 to the incentives there are 2 standard covers one by greg horn and one by amano both (god knows why) have directors cutprinted on them . Then there are two incentives a silver and a gold. I know there were special editions released after these had extra sketches adn bits and pieces in it.
Was this common practice during the infancy of the comic line ?robb77 wrote:All the issues have directors cut on them from the standard issue 1 to the incentives there are 2 standard covers one by greg horn and one by amano both (god knows why) have directors cutprinted on them . from comicbullitin.com
"Director’s Cut" is Virgin Comic’s line of titles (specials, minis or ongoings) created by "non-comic" creators, mostly those from the visual medium, and even in that from the movie world. Seven Brothers is the first release from this line, with John Woo its creator. With Woo, Garth Ennis (writer) and Jeevan Kang (artist), this title has some serious talent attached to it. The result, as expected, is a rather interesting, fast-paced issue.

As far as i can tell there are no variants in that way. the ones that say directors cut are the only versions of that comic.

First time I have ever seen this (I think), and I really have not gone over the list (obviously), so I have at this moment become conscious OR recorded over any previous data in my head. heheheDraco wrote:robb77 wrote:7 brothers gold variant slight creasing in corner of this comic
i spotted this for sale, but im not paying £12.00 for it.
£5.00 maybe as its a bugger to get.
But I have to admit, this book looks tasty.... I can only imagine that our UK member will have an easier time getting these. Yes/no ?

Got some gems for sure , so good man to point that out.
In fact the whole store was surprisingly well laid out and enjoyable to browse through.
I will def call you in the next few weeks to grab me some cheap toys they had for sale, great prices and unavailable elsewhere to boot.

For a Forbidden Planet it is pretty cool. It's nice that all the comics and graphic novels are well away from all of the toys and stuff. Keeps all the general peeps who browse apart from the comics!Draco wrote:Yeah and the Stranded HC too, which is ltd to 1,000.ian_house wrote:You find that in FP?

Let me know what you want and I'll grab whatever. I'll keep an eye out for cheap graphic novels too. It's only in the last month or so they've started having really good offers.
ayup, but I do have about 60 or so issues... Soooooo back to the NEEDS LIST making machine.Draco wrote:I dont have a copy dude.Knightt wrote:HOLY CRAP... ticktuck somehow hacked the site and deleted my Virgin Comics Needs list.
Does anyone have a copy ?
DOnt you need nearly all of it?

I have been doing that for the past two or three weekends now anyways. Finally got my Stormwatch and WildCATs needs list squared away as well as a few random others.
