Red Leaf Comics Editor-In-Chief C.L. Werner, an accomplished novelist with 15 novels under his belt, wrote quite a bit of that issue. I'll let John fill in the rest of the details on The Leaf #1.
Also, Surprising Theater #3 will be available for sale this weekend. That particular issue features a 26 page Leaf origin story written by Leaf creator John Michael Helmer and drawn by Randy Valiente, and a 2 page Leaf story Yours Truly scripted that was pencilled by Stuart Berryhill and inked and lettered by Mike Rickaby.

Both ST#3 and Leaf#1 are $2.99 each. We combine shipping so its one flat rate for 1-4 comics. The Stuart Berryhill regular cover is also $2.99.
The Jason Burgos Variant is $5.00 and the Stu Berryhill Variant is $7.50.
Both of the variants are extremly low print.
