Here is a beautiful Broadway deal...

I got this in the mail today for dhudson1. It is a Comic Con flyer but I think it looks like so much more (AND this bad boy is signed by Jim Shooter). Enjoy:

I certainly agree. I appreciate Broadway comics and what they could have been. I really love that cover though. It is on comic book grade cover paper with the insides being newspaper print. It is really nice looking though and Shooter's signature tops it off.

The collapse of 3 "Shooter-verses" in the 90's are some of the greatest "tragedies" of the past 30 years of comics.

Actually, the "Third Time's The Charm" line was about the con. It was the third Pittsburgh Comicon.

Well after you had that little procedure we figured it's only a matter of time before you start singing show tunes. I hear the Beaches soundtrack with Bette Midler rocks! :P

Does this have anything to do with a recent Only the Valiant Podcast episode?

I mean yes, we did sing Phantom of the Opera. It just kind of happened. Nobody planned for it. And I don't like broadway musicals but I don't know that I can say that for every host of the podcast.

Well, Bette Midler IS bangalicious...

And for the record, I don't even KNOW a single show tune.

I'm not even commenting on that. I DO have a Streisand story that belongs to a friend of mine. Gave me a whole new perspective on her and it was for the better.

Bette & Steisand today :o I think I just threw up in my mouth....if we're talking racks of yore, Adrienne Barbeau's was better. 'Course by now she'd have two sets of knees....btw, nice Diceman reference.

Adrienne Barbeau will ALWAYS be my girl... and wildly enough, I always had this thing for the EXTREMELY HOT and shapely Linda Blair (who is still very pretty today but lost some of the boobage).

I've seen some pics of Linda that are drop dead gorgeous... that girl had it going ON.

And this is DU related HOW ? Have I derailed my own thread ?

AB has lost it a bit. LB has has her moments. I still say Lynda Carter, of the 70's/80's "babes" is better than either of the others.
