Anyone know if they go back to the printer on the Solar trade if the new copies will be denoted as second prints, or will they be exactly the same as the first prints?

If the book market is anything like comics, I would imagine they would be considered 2nd printings. Unless DH printed more than they needed and have them sitting at a Diamond Dist. Warehouse or something.

Could be wrong, though. Certainly not an expert.

It will say the print number in the indicia just like in a comic.

There is usually no difference in the aftermarket in the price of a first print or a second print trade. Even if there are cover differences. There are very few exceptions.

It's not featured the "top 100 bestsellers" list for Dark Horse in Amazon so far:
