V-H-3?
So, will the new books in 2012 be considered V-H-3?
I notice the database has been updated to:
THE VALIANT UNIVERSE (1991 to 1996, 2007 to present)
Which would seem to group the new books with V-H-1.
I suppose we'll have to wait and see how the new books and universe is handled... No?

I say we go with just "VEI". If we have Sub categories at some point, like "Pre-Unity", or "VEI 1", that means things are rolling and we have some sort of a real universe and it's all good.
I think there has been enough "time" and separation to not label the the new Valiant Universe in context with what came before.

I don't think VH-3 or VH-4 is a good idea... that implies that VH-2 matters.
VEI is a good name, and the "I" could also be a "1", so VE1 might work as well.
Just "Valiant" is probably enough if it's understood we're talking about new books.
"New Valiant" is probably how it will be described by the general comic community.
There's probably some value in using the 2012 aspect (at least until 2013),
so if we must have a VH numbering, then VH-12 might work... really VH '12.
A little more descriptive would be Valiant 2012 or Valiant '12 or Valiant Universe 2012...
or we might as well call it "New Valiant", if that's going to be the general purpose name anyway
... or perhaps VEI will roll out the line with a specific name for marketing purposes.

New Valiant might work.
Having a Valiant Entertainment with whatever nomenclature (i.e. VE??) does not fit well as the 'company' VEI covers more than just comics. In regards to talking about comics, the 'entertainment' aspect of the company is not 'comic' centric (it would appear so from the most recent interviews). It would be like calling the old comics Voyager Communications 1 (VC1).

Calling the universe "New Valiant" makes sense. It's currently being produced and we're not talking about it in the past tense.
But referring to specific titles, "VEI Bloodshot" or "VEI Shadowman" makes the most sense to me. "New Valiant Bloodshot" is awkward. "New Bloodshot" is better, but that could still refer to the latest book out that month(or whatever).
I don't know. Just my 2 cents.
