SDCC 2011 Comic Exclusives

Post by vikingspawn »

Anybody seen the SDCC comic exclusives list yet?

I've seen some toy mentions but none of the comics from the big companies....

The main website is slowdancing with posting the list...

http://www.comic-con.org/cci/

Update: Now the Exclusives list is on the site:

You can find a lot of stuff if you google "san diego comic con exclusives 2011", or something like that. There are tons of unofficial sites that track this stuff.

I did find some of the stuff. But most/some do not have prices included. But thanks for the heads up.

I emailed SDCC about the Exclusives list on their site.

They said it should be up soon.

I've been working on compiling my own list. I'll get it to you later this week. Nothing is jumping out at me as an easy-to-get major money maker.

Well, the exclusives list is up, but it is incomplete and in some places, inaccurate.

Still, there are a few things on there that I haven't seen before.

yes! finally! phew!

The Bongo book is the main thing I want to get:

1000 print run sounds alot better than last year's limited 200 print runs.

Those had real cool certificates with Bender and the Comic Book Guy on them. The 1000 run seems more gettable compared to last Summer's books. I'd love to get a couple of these new ones with a Groening sketch of Homer or a Krusty. Or Radioactive Man. Signed or unsigned...or both.

:D

The chew gitd variant looks really cool. I'll be tracking that down.

It's probably listed under Diamond Distributors.

It looks cool, but I don't expect it to be a money maker.

All over the place. Layman has shown it a few times.

If anyone gets bored (ha!), I will be paying for copies of The Chew 19 variant as well as the The Walking Dead variant. They are both $2.99 and I'll pay a bunch more than that obviously!

Check here. The GITD picture is x'd out, but you can still see the cover for the regular #19.

Check Layman Nation on Facebook. The link I tried didn't seem to go anywhere.
