Valiants for sale

Post by slym2none »

Hi there. My name is Vince, but I'm known as "Slym2None" on all the other boards I'm a member of. This is my first post here, but I've been reading for a little bit, and feel comfortable enough to offer up the Valiants I have for sale here. I was recommended to this site by a few people on those other boards (CPG, ComicCovers.net) and it seems a good decision.

I will list what I have and what I'd like to get for them:

Solar Man Of The Atom #1 - $7.00 ***SOLD***
Solar Man Of The Atom #11 - $4.00 ***SOLD***
Turok Yearbook #1 - $2.00 ***SOLD***
Valiant Reader #1 - $2.00 ***SOLD***
X-O Manowar #1 - $8.00 ***SOLD***

TPB's (all have been carefully read once, and come with it's respective additional comic)-
Rai with Rai Companion - $4.00 ***SOLD***
Shadowman with Darque Passages - $4.00 ***SOLD***
X-O Manowar: Retribution with X-O Database - $6.00 ***SOLD***
Harbinger: Children of the Eighth Day with Harbinger 0 (2nd print) - $6.00 ***SOLD***

PLUS:
One Solar Man Of The Atom: Alpha & Omega HC, still sealed in it's original shrinkwrap, never opened and no damage - $65 ***SOLD***

Turok #1-16 ***SOLD ALL***
X-O Manowar #0, 13-33 ***SOLD ALL***

Buyer is resposible for all shipping, and I while I prefer USPS Priority Mail, I will ship by whatever other USPS method (or even a different shipping company) the buyer wants. I always use heavy-duty cardboard (double-thick when I can find it) to sandwich comics in, and bubblewrap and/or styrofoam peanuts are definitely "in my vocabulary."

PM me here or e-mail me at slym2none@hotmail.com if interested in any of these. I have traded quite a few times at those other sites, and my eBay ID is pewter4144 for anyone interested in my feedback rating.

Thanks so much for your time and possible interest!

OK, the Solar HC is gone - anything else? Anyone? Make me an offer, my prices aren't set in stone!

To 400yrs: I only hope you take me for what I am, and not base anything on what others who frequent those same websites have done or said.

Sold a bunch of stuff to a soon-to-be forumite. I updated my lists to reflect this sale. They got all the commons at 10 cents each since so many were purchased, and most of my other books are gone as well.

Thanks for looking!

Sorting back through my comics today, I found a Deathmate Preview Comic Defense System mixed up with other stuff. Here's my scan of it -
Image

I am asking $15 for it, or best offer. PM me or e-mail me at the address listed above. I also found a Deathmate Tour Book, I'll let that one go for $4.

***EDIT*** These two issues have been SOLD.

I also have quite a few Valiant Unity and some Upper Deck Valiant cards, including some chase cards. Is anyone possibly interested in these? Let me know, and I'll list them.

Hey all. I just wanted to let you people know that I have received an offer for all the rest of my comics, everything except the X-O and Shadowman TPB's. If this doesn't go through (highly unlikely) I will edit my list again, as it is I really only have those two TPB's left at this point. Thanks to everyone for looking!

A big thanks to Manowar Class for picking up most of the rest of my stuff. He is a great guy and a real Valiant fan!

I am now down to only the two TPB's.....

Now, as soon as I get a real job, my Valiant priorities will be picking up all the pre-Unity stuff that I don't already have, and I look forward to perusing this forum and actually buying from you all! Hopefully soon, too - I have a second interview Monday morning. Wish me luck!

Well, this thread is on it's dying breath - I traded my remaining two TPB's as part of a large trade I made for a REALLY nice (Uncanny) X-Men #63.

Thanks for making things happen here, and as I mentioned before, soon I will be looking to buy stuff from you all here. I do have my eye on some stuff at one of my LCS's with a bunch of Valiants, nothing spectacular, but, well... we shall soon see.

Sorry to be away so long (like anyone noticed :D ) but -

I FINALLY GOT A JOB! Nailed down the second "interview" and am now a warehouse clerk for a safety shoe company. And let me tell you what - if you're away from this site for more than 24 hours, there is a *SQUEE* of posts to read! So, I'm gonna get busy for tonight.....

...oh yeah - THANKS TO ALL WHO WISHED ME LUCK. It looks like it helped!

Congrats, Slym! Sent you a PM.

Hey, can you get a good deal on some low-rise steel-toes in black like the ones Skechers make? I've been wanting some of those!

Later, dude.

Well, I actually don't get a discount, but the company makes up for that by giving employees a free pair of Lehigh brand shoes for free each year. I do believe, however, that there is a Lehigh location near Charlotte, and we do carry the Sketchers brand... check it out if you like!

And I'm still a "question mark" on the Hero-con... :| I'll let you know soon.

I worked at a place like a mile from that store and they got me a pair of Lehighs...I didn't have to pay for them and I still have them. I like those things.

Yeah, just let me know about the Heroes thing and we can meet up.

Later,
