That's pretty underwhelming.
First had a booth at SDCC last year too, and everything they had was very, very underwhelming.

Re: First Comic's First new Release
wow that looks (for lack of a better word) f'ing retarded. @ nearly $8 it better be 200pages, or printed on 1000 year old Papyrus. Talk about kindling to have beside your fireplace...

It appears to be coloured using felt tip pens. I foresee some 50p bin trawling fun.
Re: First Comic's First new Release
I might give it a shot if it were less expensive.

Re: First Comic's First new Release
Wow, I really disagree. The trade paperback of E-Man was the best and most thorough printing most of the Charlton material ever had. I really hope they pull together ones featuring the original First Comics material.Dr. Solar wrote:That's pretty underwhelming.

While much of the other material wasn't my cup of tea, a lot of it was nicely done.
But the E-Man alone made it fine by me.

Re: First Comic's First new Release
I was trying to check out First's solicitations, but haven't figured out how to do that yet. With some effort, I found their website, which is definately disappointing. Can anyone find their solicitations online? I'd like to check 'em out.

Re: First Comic's First new Release
I saw their booth at c2e2 and got excited thinking of Grimjack and John Sable. All they had was the Eman trade, the book in this thread, and some other book that was a reprint that had been made into 3d. I was pretty disappointed. I politely looked over their items and then made my exit.
Re: First Comic's First new Release
I'm glad First is back, but I'm not sure how serious this relaunch is. I wish them success, but just take a look at their website.arghh! wrote:I saw their booth at c2e2 and got excited thinking of Grimjack and John Sable.
