There won't be refunds. I don't get a refund on my diamond order, so we just deal with the hand that was given. I am sure Dinesh will get me some decent copies, and I will be able to do something. I know many Valiant fans are very particular about conditions and I ALWAYS try to respect that and keep that in mind, but I have to stress, I never guaranteed 9.anything or CGA grading criteria. I sell "new condition" comics, and sometimes that "new" condition is not perfect, there are too many factors and handling points between it being made and getting in your hands. If you understand the process that it goes through, it's hard to expect 9.8 copies every time. I know most of you don't but some do and that's a VERY TALL ORDER to try and provide.

Once again, I never did and will NEVER ever guarantee particular Grade to anyone here. I have been in business for too many years to do that. Specially on limited supply books.

I hope I didn't come off as too much of an *SQUEE*... just thought it was another option you might consider.

I'm sure the books will look fine, send mine when you get to it... no real hurry.

You are doing the best you can! Thanks for the heads up. Please go ahead and ship me the best you have when you get to my number (19 I think?).

If Dino comes through with a replacement program (we ship our damaged 1:50 books back to Valiant for a replacement), that would be awesome. *hint* *hint*

I really appreciate your being upfront about this.

I'm OK with taking it, so long as it is only minor dings and dents, with no obvious damange (i.e. dragging the book down to VF or F condition)

I was VERY disappointed with the condition of the numerous X-O QR variants I purchased. To purchase brand new books and have some of them look like that was shocking to say the least. I figured it was a fluke so I jumped head first into the Harbinger QRs , very upsetting to see its even worse now [from what people are saying]

Looks like the 9.8 graded copies will be selling for a fortune.

PS. I am in no way upset with you Ed. Do what you can to get me a decent copy please. I know Im down on the list but I did buy a bunch of extra 1:25s and packs of 10 standards

Hmmm. I got 6 Harby QR variants in the mail today and they are perfect. The 6 standard issues that came with them were trashed though. Very happy it wasnt the QRs.

Strange stuff!

Hey Ed, if you end up with any extra copies after you get your orders taken care of and all is said and done, I would be interested in the worst one left if the price is reasonable. Right now I'm out of luck and waiting to see if Diamond can find the 28 regular copies and 2 variants they shorted us on at my lcs.

I trust your judgement. If you consider it Very Fine condition that is perfectly ok with me as it is going in my personal collection and grade is not THAT big of a deal to me.

As long as it looks good in plastic I am good to go so even a bend on the back cover would be ok if that helps you out at all

Mine arrived today, very well packed and all in great condition (and individually bagged and boarded). The QR has a tiny dent where some lummox at the publishing house gripped the stack but that's compensated for by the fact it's signed by Dysart with a COA with the release date for the title!

Very happy!
