How do you know you only lost by $1? The other persons bid could have been $100 more...maybe more.

Yes, the other person could have bid a lot more but I'll never know.

This use to drive me crazy. Now, I just put in my max bid and then let it go. But it can be frustrating.

But not as frustrating as forgetting to bid! facepalm

You can always send a message if the seller has multiple copies or the buyer doesnt pay up to offer it to you.

Sorry. I really needed that rifle if I am going to protect my million dollar collection of Bloodshot 1s now that some nut is trying to sell them for $30 each as "rare Chromium edition" on Ebay.

I'm rich!

I always bid odd numbers in cents so it helps me know if the minimum bid increment is used or if I am close. I usually snipe though anyway.

Oh I snipe. Problem with sniping is if you're too low you don't usually get a 2nd chance.
I also like to use myibidder.com. Fire and forget down to the second.
Will have to start doing it in odd numbers and cents from now on.
