How much $ you spent on the Valiant Relaunch books so far?
I saw a post on this, but I thought I should start a topic because it might be interesting.
I am curious to see how much $ board members have spent on the new Valiant Relaunch so far?
For myself:
1 Set X-O #1 Package 4 Covers including 5 Pullbox / Regular (Paradise)
1 Set Harbinger #1 Package 4 including Pullbox / Regular (Paradise)
1 X-O #2 Variant
1 X-O #2 Regular
I also have a pull list for all Valiant titles from two LCS in my area.
So I would estimate about $200+ Total not including pre orders for future books.

I really don't want to know... So I wont be adding my numbers up.
I can tell you this though... By the time september comes around I will have spent more on the launch than all my comics for the last 2 years combined.
And thats saying alot since I bought every gold vh1 title a harby 0 pink, unity red and cear in the last 2 months.

It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

I've spent what I was comfortable spending. The best part was getting on the Paradise xo deal. Great deal.

Not sure, more than what I would be spending on a sustainable amount if the level of variants continue at this pace...

I spent under $95 on 3 variants. That I resold and spent the profit on other books.

That's only since May 10th, and does not include pre-orders beyond Bloodshot. But only because they haven't been offered (here) yet.

I will have ordered all Paradise deals, plus all of the books at my LCS, plus a few extra copies for friends.
I don't want to know a total.

You guys don't get buyers remorse when you spend that much for one story?
I know when I spend alot on one store visit and only leave with 3 comics in hand...I feel like I got ripped and take a walk of shame to the car.
So I flip them for profit, go back to the shop and get more other titles.
Wait till the 4th month of these titles hits....yikes!

Re: How much $ you spent on the Valiant Relaunch books so fa
I spent...
$51 [taxes in] on a set of 4 X-O #1's [but the QR is a mis-print with the extra tabs on the upper right]
$20 [taxes in] on 3 of 4 Harbinger 1's [no QR - store didn't get one]
$16 [taxes in] on X-O #2, including the variant
so... under $90 so far...

My completing the Valiant/Acclaim desired books means I can spend all of that money on new books now, too.

Actually, it's a bit more than that, now that I think about it; forgot to add in a couple of things.
But, to be clear, that total does include that CGC 9.8 slabbed X-O #1 QR I bought from TheVisitor. I just got fed up with repeatedly wasting my time (and money) purchasing sh!tty-conditioned books looking for a truly NM/M raw copy. There really ain't that many of 'em out there, believe me, so I definitely felt that purchase was, uhm, "Justified" .

No, seriously, I am amazed about how dedicated you guys are, every day. This community is unlike anything else on the market. I don't think the crazy 45k print runs would ever happen without Valiantfans members pushing their stores to order.
Oh, and speaking of our Deals, we still have 3-4 of the Bloodshot #1 Deals with tons of cool extra stuff available:

Cyber, I'm not trying to pick a fight, and everyone is entitled to their opinion and their disposition. But you my friend need a ray of sunshine or something. Go and eat a carmel sunday or spend sometime in a bouncy house.
Most often you come off angry, negative, and aggressive. Not sure if you see it or are aware of it, but that is how I see it.
Maybe I'm off base...... I don't know, go get a pack of Big League Chew and blow some bubbles or something. It's just that you always seem on edge.

Agreed, it's your choice but calling others' choices "stupid", specially a choice to buy variants in THIS community, is uncalled for.Elveen wrote:Cyberstrike wrote:Cover price per issue and one copy.
