NYCC Books – UPDATE

Post by kjjohanson »

For everyone that placed orders for the NYCC books. I have all flipbooks on hand. I have to swing by the Valiant offices to pick up all of the trade paperbacks. Was initially going to do that Monday, but the day after the con turned out to be not so convenient, so I'll be doing that later this week. Books will start shipping this weekend or early next week.

Check back in this thread tonight. I have more to add…

Ken
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

There are a few people that still have to pay. I'm going to send friendly reminders this evening. If they're not paid for within a reasonable amount of time I'll offer up any unclaimed books to the board.

While you're at the offices picking up the trades, would you mind getting them signed by some of the guys? Thanks :D

Cool that you get to go to the offices and that you didn't have to hurt your back lugging all those books around for us at the con.

I think I posted once when I first joined, and then not again until just recently.

So, here's why I said there's more info coming tonight. I picked up an extra copy of the Arturo Lozzi artbook mentioned in this thread: http://www.valiantfans.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=38413" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, figuring that I could ship it out at no additional shipping cost if someone was interested. It's got a different sketch (naturally; it's of Bloodshot. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow). I'm willing to offer it at cost ($25) to anyone who's interested and has paid up for their shipment (I've got 2 stragglers; I'll give them until tomorrow to pay to make them eligible). If you're interested, PM me. Since I'm assuming that there will be more than one person interested, I'll find some random way to pick a "winner" from all responses, and we can settle up the additional cost before I ship stuff out. If interested, let me know by Saturday night.
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

But you did get all the books sketched for us, right? :kidaround:
