Just listening to the discussions and questions about the books makes the stories more enjoyable.

Elveen! I enjoyed the topics you brought up. Taking notes was brilliant.

Keep up the great work guys!
Thanks Bro. I really enjoy recording the podcast.
Elveen, I wholeheartedly agree to what drmirage said about the podcast. Believe it or not, I look forward to each and every podcast you guys put out, even if Chiclo recites the alphabet backwards! :thumb:

It's not deliberate, I've been really pressed for time lately, stuff has been slipping through the cracks.

In podcast 85, Sean mentioned that he feels Rai will make an appearance in the next 12 months. In the Valiant FCBD there's an ad for Rai stating spring 2013, so unless that's changed it shouldn't be too long before that character makes an appearance.

Even though Sean wasn't as prepared as usual (for podcast 85), I thought he did well to roll with the punches and getting his immediate reaction to the last few pages of A&A was actually very interesting (IMO). Nice work Sean!

As one of the the people who discussed not liking the art of this issue, I did try to clarify but feel the need to do so once more. Clayton Henry's art is superb, I have no issues with it (on the whole) the issue I have is the complete lack of blood. Shooting Armstrong in the eyes shouldn't really be blood free.

It's a personal preference, I understand his style meets the writing style as being lighter material than say the bloody art in Bloodshot.

Clayton Henry's ability to emote and tell the story through his art alone is fantastic and he's a fine grab by Valiant to have in the stable.

Having re-read Bloodshot 1-4 (quickly) I like #4 less and less. It seems rushed, it feels rushed and it was seemingly edited (perhaps drawn) rushed.

Besides the final page screw-up In issue #3 it seems obvious Bloodshot is leading Pulse and Co. away from the town and away from the woman who was one of his planted memories but Kara doesn't seem to be in the Ambulance but suddenly in this issue, there she is to save Bloodshot. If she was in the Ambulance (that is seriously *SQUEE* up from the crash) I don't see how she would be in better shape than BS.

To me, Valiant was all about "continuity" first and foremost and so far...that hasn't been the case in this iteration.

Loved the episode though, Sean's discovery of the book as the podcast continued was fun too.

Only The Valiant Listeners,

After much soul-searching, I wanted to let you know that I will be stepping down as a regular podcast host of "Only The Valiant" until further notice. I will still be contributing to the website in the form of written articles and new comic reviews, in a much higher capacity than before...but I need some time to focus on my needs and I felt that it would be a disservice to the rest of the OTV crew and to the listeners if I was not able to contribute 150% to the discussions, which is the case at this point in time.

Please know that this decision was not easy and the rest of the OTV guys are fully supportive of my choice. It is very likely that I will return to the podcasting-fold sooner than even I realize.

In the meantime, keep listening to the show as there are lots of great episodes to come. I thank each and every one of you for making my place on this podcast one of warmth and excitement in a multitude of ways.

Namaste,

Jonesy

So everyone knows, this is a completely friendly break. I completely support Jonesy, and his need to focus on other stuff.

The door is 100% open for him whenever he's ready to jump back in to the podcasting hotseat, which I do indeed hope will be sooner than we all think :)
