I have to admit, a small part of me wishes this just would have been an inter title crossover, versus a separate min-series.
Regardless, it won't lessen the excitement for me!

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
I agree.. I also wish they would have saved the title "Harbinger Wars" for something a bit more epic, it feels to soon. The Beyonder wrote:I have to admit, a small part of me wishes this just would have been an inter title crossover, versus a separate min-series.

Of course, since the issues haven't come out, this could be the most epic of epic and deserving of the title. I am curious to see if any real changes come from it. The interview from CBR made it sound like it was mostly about the two titles coming into their own and learning to be heroic. They did mention some other character appearances... possibly H.A.R.D. Corps or Rai? HC seems the most likely, since it could lead to a spin off into a series. If I remember right, they were basically artificial Harbingers, right? Seems like something PRS would be working on.

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
I'm actually glad it's not an inter-title crossover. Cameos are one thing, but crossovers are annoying because you have to buy multiple titles to get the full story. Then again, the entire Valiant line is amazing, so from a sales perspective that might've been the best idea.
Let's just be glad that this isn't the Valiant version of AvX. Well, that it doesn't seem to be.

Manga, comics, who cares? They're pretty much the same thing.

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
Wait, so this is a totally seperate series? Maybe a mini-series? Instead of a crossover between titles already running?
THAT I did not know. Not sure if that is better or worse for me. Or is this a Unity type thing Where there is a seperate issue #1, then the crossovers, then a finale issue #2?

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
Okay, I guess I need to read the article that is linked to first to answer my own questions. Interesting. 12 part story between 4 Harby, 4 Bloodshot and 4 Harby Wars issues. Neat. Sounds VERY COOL!

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
I like that they are doing a 12 part story with the help of the mini.
We get more of the story quicker. I'm curious as to what else they will do as mini series down the road.
Some concepts are better explored this way.
As always there is some great talent involved. I like the rotation of
artists and glad they are sticking with some familiar names.
I'm also glad to see some of the payoff from stuff set up since the first issue.

Yeah, now having read it, a 12 parter that crosses over all three titles is better than just a side mini.

I like the separate miniseries books ... more Valiant to read that month.

Art by Clayton Henry.

So this is it's own book not dragging in the Bloodshot or Harbinger books.

Re: CBR & Newsarama: HARBINGER WARS
This is so cool. Great looking art so far... man, I just LOVE Mico!! And well played, being a mini that also crosses into two titles. I'm in!jaden_sai wrote: it's 12 issues, as follows:

Such a stellar line up of talent on these books - can't wait to see Henry's work in the mini, KITSON! on BLOODSHOT! and Khari coming back to Harbinger... and the mini is co-written by Dysart & Swierczynski? Awesome sauce!
Can't wait to see who some of these Harby Kids are going to be... and I wonder if this will tie into the first appearance of RAI somehow, being a story [in title, at least] pulled from the pages of RAI #0. It is arriving at the roughly promised date of RAI from the FCBD preview...
