Well, I'm excited to say that I bought one of the covers that I posted in this thread. It's not the most expensive, nor the most extravagant one, but it's one of my favorites, no doubt.

And yes, Valiant should've been knocking on Ron Riley's door a long time ago for colors.

I love this minimalist cover. It captures the emotion of the event perfectly. The red is a great touch:

Although, Marvel really could have done better by putting the barcode on the back cover or something.

while all the covers shown have great art, what ever happened to the idea of the cover describing what was happening in the book??? To grab your attention and say "HEY...CHECK IT OUT! IN THIS ISSUE..."

Is it just me or has that been entirely lost?
