The new X-O Manowar shirt.

I got the new X-O Manoshirt in the mail today.

It is orange rather than the gold color pictured online. It's ok, but I'd rather have what was pictured online.

It seems a lot of people are upset by the gold color...

I have not ordered anything from the online store yet. I know what it means when members say that shirts don't look exactly like the photos. If you are not satisfied with the item, keep it sealed (unused) and simply return it.

VEI just launched this store and perhaps the sample image on the website is not the exact color. Or it may have been an edited photo of the shirt.

Just email these guys. I'm sure everyone who is not satisfied will be taken cared of.

Looking at the shirt, it does look different. I am 100% that if VEI corrects the color on these shirts, people will be looking for the 1st Generation one (the orange color) because these are gonna be more limited.

When that happens, I am sure everyone will wish that they had this color shirt instead of the newer correct color shirt. This shirt could be considered as the Error Limited Print Shirt.

I don't believe you can CGC a shirt.

You can PSA/DNA it.

Would I be upset if my shirt was limited and more valuable. Of course not.

Of course if you were to take it out of the bag and actually wear it, it would lose that presumed value immediately.

I bought these shirts to wear not stash away as a "collectible" in hopes of making a couple of bucks down the line, that said it's appearance makes it pretty easy to leave it in the bag and not wear.

I would rather have the shirt on the website and actually wear it than have an orange plastic lump sitting in my closet but that's just me.

Being a Flyers fan I have plenty of orange shirts. So I don't mind the color. But I can understand why people are upset. It is misleading advertising and they should correct the issue with unsatisfied customers.
