Oh I barely noticed it's not like there is supposed to be a big prize announcement or anything!!

That said I pussed out on the double bonus and went with "leather edition" I'm sure you dug up something brilliant.

I know it was a holiday this weekend but where is the new episode? There was no episode last week and there was no new valiant books. So I need you guys now more then ever lol. Thanks. We met the colorist from the book, think we are going to have him on in the future.

Yeah, I really appreciated the commentary track because it made me take a second look at a book that I kind of zipped through the first time--you guys are certainly right about the coloring, it really is amazingly well done. I think it's up there with Batman: Year One in its use of the color palette.

I have just today finished reading all 133 pages worth of posts. I am only on episode 8 or 9 I think. Whichever podcast covers the collecting of Valiants. I am a Valiant fan from waaaay back. I have a complete collection of everything before Acclaim took over and a spotty collection after that. I was very excited to hear that Valiant was coming back and have read every book to date from VEI. I meet Joshua Dysart, Atom, Dino and Josh Johns recently at the Phoenix Comicon, great guys one and all. I look forward to being more involved on the Valiant Fans boards which I recently discovered and hope to catch up on the podcasts as well. Thanks for the hard work Sean, I wish I had discovered your podcast before Memorial Day so I might have had a chance to talk to you in Phoenix. At least I got to listen to 5 episodes on the 9 hour trip home!

I look forward to having some people I can talk comics with, as it's been many years since I have had any friends who collected.

I am in the same boat I got a good 90s collection and some late 80s stuff. I just recently got back into comics because of Valiant and I dont have any friends who are into comics anymore. And trust me I keep telling them that they have to start reading Valiant. The boards are a great place and everyone on here is really cool.

I started collecting in 1982, had a short break, 93 to 95 and a long one from 2001 til 2008. Valiant has always been at or near the top of my favorite titles, so I was very excited to hear about their return. I have a few friends whom I am trying to persuade to read the new Valiant. We'll see how it goes.
