I believe the VEI gang will be coming down to SD before the con. I'll ask them. My concerns would be if they apply a customer limit. I'll try and get as much detail as possible.

That's kind of Millionaire's style. I'm not familiar with his work except for his stuff in Marvel's Strange Tales anthology (Which I LOVED), but the crudeness is part of the appeal with him. He's an acquired taste, and honestly I think that this cover looks almost TOO polished for him. This is a page from his Iron Man story:

As far as a unique underground style, this guy is top notch.

The article says the book will be sold on the CBLDF website too, if you can't get to SDCC.

Yeah, I looked up his other things (Maakies and Sock Monkey) briefly and I understand that the 'ugly art' style is very much his thing. Guess he's just not to my tastes. But thanks for the heads-up anyway

I think that based on the latest tweet from VEI, Asmus will be showing up to sign some of these variants on Friday 7/19 @ 1pm. I need to find out what the price will be with & without Asmus's sig. Also gotta find out if Tony will show up too. Maybe a CGC auto spotting on the CBLDF variant? heh

Alright - just spoke w/Dinesh on this variant, and it seems that the variant will be either $10/$20 based on the demand. Since the SDCC is coming really close, there's gonna be a small window open for me take orders/payments. I'll post again soon once I finalize all the costs, etc. Please note, that I'll be aiming to get Asmus to sign these (if you want yours signed).

I'll be creating a new thread to provide some info on what he told me about some cool, upcoming things for Valiant! (assuming that I'm allowed to talk about it - he was bit secretive)
