I can see a new arms race heating up. At least this gives great explanation for any future 'science fiction' weapons. Laser guns and such have a real in world reason for being now! I can't wait to see the ring as viewed from the ground in some Valiant comic! We haven't seen that anywhere yet, correct? Or a picture of it from orbit showing the ring of debris?
I think issue 15 showed the ring of debris briefly.

As for Harada not being a tech guy? If he needs Livewire to achieve his goal, ie taking down XO, then he will do whatever is necessary to do so. He has proven that time and again. If Livewire needs an arm, he'd make her one as long as it suits his needs.

And if it is Harada 'giving' Livewire her new arms, then you can also be sure that he will imbue them with some means to control her or remove her from the equation as needed. (Like Aric controlling Ken with the X-O hand in the old Valiant!?) After all, she has already betrayed him once.

Well she's not much of a threat at a distance. Unless she's got some machinery she can control, what good is she?
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she could kick my *SQUEE*. But in a gunfight, she's going to need a gun! ...or guns for hands. or whatever.

Cyborgy? That's when a group of robots have sex, right? :kidaround:

Hmm, and since they have the ability to integrate interesting, uh, mechanical attachments, appendages and 'upgrades', that'd be one heck of a show. There's gotta be a section for that over on xvideo...

It's not a robot arm. The left arm looks the same. It's just the way the sleeves on her outfit looks. The right arm is just more defined because it's in the light instead of the shadow.
