A Valiant Fighting Game Would Be Awesome

Post by lorddunlow »

So I was just thinking. A Street Fighter style Valiant themed game would be awesome. I totally hope Valiant takes off in the next few years and this could actually happen.

The game could come complete with a cheat code to activate the Last Enemy - virus guy that could control any of the non-playable characters.

What characters would be the defaults, unlockables, bosses, etc.? What would be their special moves and combos? Who would have special team up combos?

Obviously, putting Archer and Aram together would allow some team combos, but what could be cool unexpected combos?

Defaults:
Pete
Bloodshot
Ninjak
Eternal Warrior
Torque
Flamingo
Archer
Armstrong
XO
Shadowman

Bosses:
Gamma
Mister Twist
Mary Maria
Commander Trill
Harada
Master Darque

Unlockable:
Faith
Doctor Mirage
Timewalker
Rai
Quantum
Woody
Kay McHenry

That's just to start...Thinking combos gets serious. Obviously combos of Renegades, A&A, Q&W, Immortal Brothers, Dr. Mirage & Shadowman, Rai & Bloodshot, Kay & Gilad, XO & Ninjak...

I like your lists. Mary Maria would be an awesome boss!

I agree Darque and Harada should be bosses, but they also need to be unlockable - maybe if you beat the game with every Renegade on the hardest setting, you get a super difficult Harada fight that unlocks him.

A Quantum and Woody combo could involve the goat!

I never even thought about Kay, but she would have some really cool moves. She could also have combos with almost anyone.

Unlocks should be the VH1 variants of the characters . . .

super secret finishing move would be to take a Deathmate on your opponent . . .

I'm not into fighting games anymore. Now a Valiant RPG from BioWare on the other hand...

I would forever be in debt of Valiant and BioWare. I might like it better though if a company like NaughtyDog (creators of Drake's Fortune and Last of Us) made it Because there graphics are phenomenal and I they make great stories. I would play to my dying day...

I'll take any of BioWare's stories over Uncharated 2 anyday of the week the story and the characters were dull as dirt for me.

From what I have seen of the latest Frostbite engines (which are the same engines that powers Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4) that BioWare is using now the graphics look better than any Naughty Dog games.

Valiant would have made a much better partner universe for that Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game than DC. DC forced them to make it into a T-rated game, which is inane for the Mortal Kombat universe which is built on blood and gore.

Bloodshot in the Mortal Kombat universe would be so entertaining. Kano rips his heart out, he just grows another.

It would be worth it just to see a Master Darque fatality

I have some graphics design skills so I could try this. I won't make any promises though

I regret to inform you that I fiddled with it for about 2 1/2 hours and died. So I think that our hopes are gone. I can't code to save my life.

Oh, I know. Coding is the hardest thing I've ever tried to do. I love fiddling with computers and related devices, and I've never been able to get a strong grasp of it. The people who code well truly have brains that are just wired differently from everyone else.
