Rai #6 complete 22 pages (no cover) - sold for $2,247
Did anyone here win it? I think it's a pretty good deal at around $100 per page. There are 2 page 1s and the last 4 pages are very memorable.

A great price, for whoever won! I agree, the last 4 pages were money.
Any idea, what was the reserve price?

I picked this up. I really had to stretch, but I do think it was a good investment at $100 a page. I look forward to seeing them in the flesh. My art collection is growing to the point I feel I need a safe just for that!

Congrats.
With that much valuable art in your house, perhaps you need room for a gun in that safe!

Put me down as PENDING for any future sales of this should you need to liquidate your asets at some point.
As time goes by year after year, such things will become more and more rare, and eventually, all but vanish from the market.
I would actually frame th ENTIRE book if I were you (every page) have at-least 1 wall dedicated to the whole issue.
SWEET!

I'm still stunned that these books haven't seen the light of day for 20 years! Plus DC/Marvel titles get split between the penciler and inkers shares, it's sooo cool to have a 100% complete book.
Congrats to nycjadie on the huge win!!

Yesterday, a ton of Secret Weapons art was up, including a #1 cover, as well as other stuff (I didn't get any). It's raining Valiant art at the moment. A great time to be a buyer. I just wish I could buy more!

Go for it. Now that you have a few complete issues, you have to go for the complete run of the entire series.nycjadie wrote:Rai 13:

The last few months, lots of pieces (high quality and key pages) are available for sale. I won this Lapham Harbinger piece the other day.AnthonyF wrote:I picked up a couple pages from Pete's auctions, there's a ton of stuff available, like u said.nycjadie wrote:Rai 13:

Plus you got that Harby 9 color page.iggy101us wrote:

Nice Win!!
From Lapham's last issue, you know that's Faith at her comic shop job? Didn't you pick up more pages from that book recently too? Going for the complete issue
I won these two,
issue #23 Pete versus Faith & Kris (under Harada's control), and he kills Shatiqua. [Is it just me, or is Pete on Roids? ]
And from #25, with Pete killing Harada. (... no, he doesn't really die...)

Congrats, I was watching those.
Regarding Harbinger #13, I picked up a few colors from sonicdan - have 6 colors and 3 inks from that issue. Yes, I am going for the complete Lapham Harbinger run

A worthy goal taking completionism to a whole new level!
