Been away for a while . . . but at a local comic shop and saw 2 promo flat chromium covers for Unity #8 and Bloodshot #something (Armor Hunters cover)

The flats were given away at ComicsPro. It is a special retailer event held every year. They had flats of all the new chromium covers.

Well, speaking to Bruce and Elery, they seem to believe based on conversations they have had with VEI, that while some flats will be in circulation, they will indeed be rare in nature, and by no means common grabs.
So if you do have a chance to snag one up, or several even, take it.
What is good to note on these beyond their obvious Valiant Collection and Display potential, is that they don't need to be sent to a third-party grading company (e.g. CGC), which makes it a LOT easier to hunt creative team signatures at shows and/or events.
